Introducing
"Obi"
Making his blog debut!!
Obi was a present to Alex from Santa...and he's such a cutie!!
This was the smallest Santa hat we could find. LOL
What is that on my tank? Hmm...can I eat it?
And of course, I have to include one of the kiddo...a silly one of course :-)
He came in from the other room saying
"My daddy shot me with a dart gun" in the silliest voice...haha...Daddy hadn't shot him, he'd licked the darts and stuck them to his forehead!

More Zoo Photos
I told you that I had more!! :-)
As mentioned before, We took my neice E to the zoo with us....she just turned 12 this week...can you tell?
Such a beautiful girl
This Zebra was just hanging out
Spoonbill...they're just so cool!!
And the kids got to feed the Giraffes...this is my favorite photo...hahaha!
I think had Duke actually licked Alex, both of their expressions would be quite different! LOL
Ok, more photos of the giraffes...better photos than the one above :-) LOL
This is Duke. He's the Daddy giraffe to the little guy born a year or so ago...
A resting giraffe
And as promised, better photos of the kids feeding Duke

Some other gorgeous animals we encountered
I rarely get to see these wolves when we're at the zoo...they're always sleeping in the shadows.
Today, they were out enjoying the sunshine, and I was able to get this shot...I got others of the laying down wolf alone, but I love the bit of interaction here.
On a side note, I think the wolf laying down is blind. I got a shot of him/her looking at me, and both eyes are frosty and glassy looking. Makes me less sad that they're in the zoo.
Lemurs
Some friends from the Reptile Houses
A couple more shots of the kids...
I thought this series of photos was just amazing!!
What do you think?
Time for a snack??
See the bee?
Stop right there bee... (at the end of his beak on the inside top)
Yummy!! (Bee is in the tip of his beak)
Gulp...Yum....umm, uh, I mean, he went that way
