Patriot's Point Military Museum

The last of my South Carolina vacation photos. I just had to share this awesome museum with you though!
We ended up spending over 5 hours at Patriot's Point Military Museum. We thought we'd have a bored 6 year old on our hands...but he couldn't get enough of it and had a blast! He didn't want to leave!

First Day of School

My goodness...how is it that I have a 1st grader on my hands?!?!?!
He looks so grown all of a sudden.

Charleston Fire Department

Some awesome shots from our visit to one of the oldest working fire stations in the nation.



















Loved that they still had the call box indicator on the wall...when someone in the city would pull a call station, it would send a numerical message to this device. It would make punches in the paper, and the fire fighters would read the punches, check the number/location of the call box, and head out. Cool.
