Well, it was time for another trip to the Jacksonville Zoo!!!
I met my very good friend Vicki and her kids...Vicki is a photographer in Georgia and we always have a blast taking photos of the kids and animals as we go!
So, here is a zoo overload! Enjoy :-)
First, some birds from the aviary....
and a turtle too :-)
My friend and her neighbor's boy feeding the stingrays...look how it came out of the water!!
And a few wild birds too!!
Some animals from the Africa area of the zoo....
This Ostrich is always so cool!!
A hungry Rhino...and a good thing too..Look at those ribs!!
A cool guy from the reptile house
And an adorable little deer
The elephants were really active this day!! I could have stayed there for hours!!
Apparently, this elephant was hot...she kept putting her trunk in the water, then using the water to make mud in front of her....
Then sprayed the mud wherever she could reach!!
There's my silly guy!
And look! A monkey!!
No..no..that's Preston! :-)
Beautiful Lion
The giraffes are always so cool!!
I think this guy was getting onto the kids...snicker..
The scenery at the zoo is beautiful!
The kids watching fish
Sleeping Jaguar
An Anteater
A Tapir
Beautiful Green-Wing Macaw
I love this silly look that Preston gives!
The kids on a bridge...Preston wasn't feeling it. LOL
In my favorite aviary at the zoo...
When Alex finally settled down and watched the Otters for a moment...they decided to play with him!!
Pouty Christopher...I can't blame him, it was HOT.....I couldn't resist though, he's even too cute for words when he pouts!
Time for the monkeys!!!
Hello?!?! Is anyone home?? We're hot and hungry!!!
Hahaha!
Silverback Gorillas....one word....Wow!
Who's watching who?
Silly kids on the playground...THEY had energy left...Vicki and I were exhausted!!
Taken from the moving train...she wanted to tell us Hi!!

I'm so jealous! I've been wanting to go to the zoo all summer! And the giraffes/lions are never that close/cooperative when we go! Love the pics!
I love the roseate spoonbills and the scarlet ibis!! Good job!
